Testimonials:

'I just wanted to give an absolutely massive thank you to both for the presentation you shared with the team.  I think a lot of your messages will resonate with many of the staff, women as well as men – definitely a Northern thing being drummed into us as kids about not talking about feelings.  Your openness regarding your own struggles and personal losses was really moving and powerful.  You have definitely achieved something today in addition to making your bed!' - Kate

'My ‘walk and talks’ with Phil and Danny have been a real boost to me.  Shielding and working from home, together with other health issues and surgery over the past year have taken their toll.  Feeling a little isolated, low mood, putting on weight, problems sleeping and physical restraints following surgery were the reasons for getting in touch with the Trust’s Wellbeing Coaches.  I didn’t know what they could do to help, but they have helped.  By taking things at my pace, and being genuinely interested, and ‘invested’ in my wellbeing, things have turned around, my personal wellbeing is a priority for me now, whereby it wasn’t previously – everything else came first.  The advice they give is based on own personal experiences,  which is what makes this work, being able to talk and more importantly laugh, has been a real game changer.   I look forward to our walk and talks, and I would encourage others to take this opportunity – it will make you feel better – it worked for me!' - The author wishes to remain anonymous

'I’d like to thank you for the help I have received within the walk session and the PT that I have received when able around the pandemic. Danny and Phil have helped during the worst part with my anxiety and my physical health issues and weight gain which have increased the anxieties around self esteem and confidence in my work. They have helped during the time with walks to build good rapport and therapeutic relationships with them to enable I can work with them and also improve my self which has been having a positive effect on myself and my work  and couldn’t have done any of this without them this year' - John
