As we learn to live with COVID-19, preserving and protecting the physical, mental and psychological health, safety and wellbeing of colleagues and patients whilst keeping them well remains a priority within the Trust. Following the removal of domestic restrictions across England, each of us now has to learn to live safely with COVID-19. The Trust is therefore removing the need to complete both the Enhanced Safety Assessment and the Vulnerable Persons Risk Assessment.

In future, any potential increased risk to staff due to COVID-19 will be identified via other routine risk assessment processes, for example, for pregnant women this will include the completion of a New and Expectant Mothers Risk Assessment.

Updated guidance to support managers and staff with COVID related risk can be found here.
